I made Bill by redrawing the wrench from a picture, then made a template, adjusted that to the right size (just... what 'looked right'), then just divided that into single pieces, traced them onto a wooden board (5 mm thick, so I had more of one specific piece stuck together to get the desired breadth) stuck the whole lot together as it should have been and then it was just sandpapering and sandpapering and paste and sandpapering...

I actually think my process was more complicated to those found on the web...!!! But the final product looks good, the work was satisfying and the present made someone special happy. So...
Go to the web. There are tutorials around! And good luck with it! It's not that hard to make *says so after a month of work xD* Just takes patience.
